Maweninga camp

Maweninga camp is installed atop a great granite massif, in the north-west of Tarangire National Park. It is part of the small number of accommodations installed in the national park itself.

Easily accessible, it is ideally placed for observing wildlife but remote enough to offer guests the feeling of being alone in the world ..

From its privileged location, guests can look out over vasts areas of the park and enjoy sunset over the Manyara and Burungi lakes from the terrace of their tent or the barâ€¦

Maweninga is a comfortable bush camp (12 tents) with a great atmosphere: each tent has double or twin beds with ensuite facilities (flush toilet, small basin, hot shower), locally made furniture, terrace with safari chairs.

The camp meets the current ecological requirements for energy (tent lighting and water heating), waste recycling and water economy management.
