Undzungwa is not a national park like others. The Udzungwa Mountains are almost supernatural and exceptional by their beauty.

Here, everything is done on foot: a safari in the park is more like the "adventures" of the early explorers, than a "tour operator" safari.

The safaris being exclusively done on foot, the flora and fauna can be seen from a different perspective.

This large park (1 990 km²) is full of surprises and it is therefore not surprising that a new breed of monkey has been recently discovered in the park, bringing to ten the number of primate species living in Undzungwa.
